Painting since 1995, Michelle is a self taught artist. She began mixing large amounts of water into her acrylic paint creating a wash effect. To complete the artwork she then applies an ink pen over the fine details of each piece. Her technique is known as ink & wash. The artwork is painted on birch and has its own unique frame handcrafted by her father.

Michelle first observes her surroundings and through imagination and creative thought she brings each painting to life. It is often said her work reflects a cheerful and optimistic outlook on life.
